The physician

Dr. Erietta Galani, MD, PhD

Every consultation on this site is held by one physician. There is no care team behind the name and no delegated interpretation. That is the reason the diary is narrow, and it is also the reason the reading is worth what it costs.

How she practises

Intensive care teaches a particular discipline: you measure, you act on the measurement, and you measure again to find out whether you were right. Longevity medicine is the same discipline applied over years rather than hours, and with far more time to get the sequence in the correct order.

The physician and patient relationship is an obligation of means, not of result. No outcome is promised here. What is promised is that the reasoning behind every recommendation is written down, that the limits of what has been measured are stated, and that where a question falls outside what this practice can answer, you are told so plainly.

Consultations are held in English or Greek. Dr. Galani also consults in French and German.

Clinical specialties

Internal medicine

Board specialty. Reading blood work, metabolic and cardiovascular risk as one clinical picture rather than a list of isolated values.

Intensive care medicine

Second board specialty. Twenty years of practice in Athens and Brussels, where measurement, action and re-measurement follow each other within hours.

Cellular immunology

PhD, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, graded Excellent. Inflammation and immune ageing as the thread running through most longevity findings.

Peptide therapy

ISSCA Online Advanced Peptides Therapy Certification. Prescribed individually, under medical supervision, and only where assessment supports it.

Where she practises

Remote consultations are held from Athens in English, Greek, French or German. Clinic days and treatments take place at the partner medical centre in Glyfada, southern Athens.
